       We need to understand and practice the proper waste management. Segregation is very important. Improper Waste Disposal: A Major Societal Issue

     Waste disposal can be defined as any method used to discard unwanted substances or materials. Improper waste disposal is the unsustainable practice of discarding waste in a manner that’s harmful to the environment.       About 35,580 tons of garbage is generated every day in the Philippines . On the average, each person in the country produces about 0.5 kg and 0.3 kg of garbage every day in the urban and rural areas, respectively.
